This Privacy Policy explains how the Voice Changer mobile application ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. By using the App you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Audio you create. When you record or import audio, the recording and any processed result are saved locally on your device only. Voice effects are applied entirely on-device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your recordings on any server.
Microphone. The App requests microphone access solely to record audio when you tap record. The microphone is not used at any other time.
Usage & diagnostic data. Through Google Firebase (Analytics & Crashlytics) we collect anonymous information such as:
- App events and feature usage (e.g. which screens are opened)
- Device information (model, operating system version, language, region)
- App version and unique installation/analytics identifiers
- Crash logs and diagnostic data when the App stops unexpectedly
Feedback you send. If you contact us by email, we receive the email address and any information you choose to include.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide and operate the App's core features (recording, effects, text-to-speech)
- To diagnose crashes and fix bugs
- To understand how features are used and improve the App
- To respond to your feedback and support requests
3. Permissions We Request
- Microphone — to record your voice.
- Storage / Media audio — to import and save audio files.
- Modify audio settings / Write settings — to set a clip as your ringtone, notification, or alarm (only when you ask).
- Internet / Network state — for analytics, crash reporting, and network-based text-to-speech voices.
4. Text-to-Speech
The text-to-speech feature uses the text-to-speech engine installed on your device. Depending on that engine and the voice you select, the text you enter may be processed by the engine provider (for example, Google) to generate audio. We do not store the text you enter.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following Google services. Their handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy:

6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your recordings with anyone. Anonymous usage and crash data are processed by Google as our service provider. We may disclose information if required by law.
7. Data Retention
Audio you create stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App. Analytics and crash data are retained by Google Firebase according to their standard retention periods.
8. Your Choices & Rights
- You can delete any recording inside the App at any time.
- Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored audio from your device.
- You can reset or limit your advertising/analytics identifier in your device settings.
- You may contact us to request information about, or deletion of, data associated with you.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
